Facial acupuncture is generally very gentle, and most patients experience little to no discomfort. The needles used are extremely fine, and you may feel a brief prick or mild sensation when they are inserted.Once the needles are in place, most patients find the treatment comfortable and relaxing. Your comfort is always a priority, and the treatment can be adjusted based on your individual sensitivity and preferences.

Most patients are able to return to their usual activities after facial acupuncture.You may notice some temporary redness, mild tenderness, or small areas of bruising where needles, cupping, or gua sha were used. These effects typically resolve on their own.Some patients notice a sense of relaxation following treatment, while others may experience mild fatigue. Staying well hydrated and allowing yourself some time to relax after your appointment may be helpful.

Facial acupuncture is not appropriate for everyone.
